Chatbotics (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a no-code AI platform that enables businesses to build AI agents, automate workflows, and connect messaging channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, websites, Shopify, and more.

Protecting your privacy — and the privacy of your end-users — is a core principle of Chatbotics. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, protect, and delete personal data when you use our platform.

By using Chatbotics, you agree to the practices described in this policy.


Roles & Responsibilities (Important)

  • Chatbotics acts as a Data Processor
  • Our customers (businesses using Chatbotics) are the Data Controllers

When end-users communicate with a Chatbotics-powered AI agent (e.g. via WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, or a website), all data is processed solely on behalf of the business operating that agent.


By:

  • Creating an account
  • Connecting a messaging channel
  • Interacting with a Chatbotics-powered AI agent

you consent to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time by disconnecting integrations, deleting your account, or contacting us.


Information We Collect

1. Account Information

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Authentication credentials (securely hashed)
  • Billing details (if applicable)

2. Integration & Configuration Data

  • API keys, access tokens, and connection settings (encrypted)
  • Channel configuration (e.g. WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Messenger)
  • AI agent instructions, workflows, and uploaded knowledge

3. Conversation Data (Processed, Not Exploited)

We process messages exchanged between end-users and AI agents, including:

  • Text messages
  • Media (images, attachments)
  • Metadata (timestamps, channel source)

We do not permanently store conversation data beyond what is required to operate the service, provide analytics, or meet legal obligations.

4. Technical & Usage Data

  • IP address
  • Device and browser information
  • Cookies and session identifiers
  • Non-personal dashboard usage statistics

5. Payment Data

Payment data is handled securely by third-party payment providers (e.g. Stripe).
Chatbotics never stores full credit card numbers.


How We Use Data

We use data only to:

  • Operate AI agents and message routing
  • Provide analytics and conversation insights
  • Enable human agent takeover
  • Secure the platform and prevent abuse

Data Retention & Deletion

  • Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service
  • Customers may delete conversations, integrations, or accounts at any time
  • Backups rotate automatically and are securely purged
  • Legal and financial records are retained only when required by law

Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Data Handling

If you connect Chatbotics to Meta platforms (Facebook or Instagram):

  • Chatbotics processes data strictly on behalf of the connected business
  • You may disconnect the integration at any time
  • If a user removes Chatbotics from Meta (deauthorizes the app), we stop processing associated data for that integration

Meta Data Deletion Requests

Meta users may request deletion via:
